Kamil joined the intellectual property profession in 2024 after completing his master’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Nottingham.
During his degree, Kamil studied a broad range of topics including quantum chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry and catalysis, as well as various languages including Spanish, Italian and Arabic. In his final year he studied more advanced topics based on physical chemistry and the entrepreneurial applications of chemical products.
His final year project, under the Licence group, focused on sustainable ways of storing thermal energy to tackle a growing global demand, with heat loss being a major energy loss contributor. Kamil focused specifically on the use of phase change materials (PCMs) as potential energy storage materials, where his work included thermal analysis and inert atmosphere chemistry.
Since joining the profession, Kamil has worked on various cases from medical devices, such as stents or wound devices, mechanical devices and chemical products, from concrete to polymers.
