Michael joined the patent profession in 2020, following the completion of his undergraduate master's degree in Engineering at the University of Cambridge. He will shortly be commencing a postgraduate course in Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary University London.
During his degree, Michael studied a wide variety of engineering areas, including mechanical, aerospace, electrical and information engineering. His final-year project involved investigating turbulent drag reduction using anisotropic permeable substrates, more specifically investigating the applicability and accuracy of known predictive models and determining the optimum configuration of anisotropic permeable substrate to achieve maximum drag reduction.
