Sean Sullivan

Part-Qualified Patent Attorney

Sean has been in the intellectual property profession since 2016. He is a part-qualified patent attorney who works with large and small companies across a wide range of technical fields including telecoms, graphics processing, automotive engineering, optical systems engineering, and medical devices. Sean has extensive experience in advising on patent portfolio management, drafting patent applications, and managing international prosecution of applications through to grant.

Sean holds a first class master’s degree in Physics from the University of Manchester and a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London. His master’s degree included modules in solid state physics, soft matter physics and quantum computing. Sean’s final-year research project was in the field of particle physics and involved simulating and displaying ultra-high energy tau neutrino interactions in a 3D model of a neutrino observatory.
