Slingsby Partners continues partnership with Career Ready for a second year

Slingsby Partners has renewed its partnership with Career Ready to continue to provide insight and support for young people through mentoring. Alex, Anna, Ollie and Annabel are each paired with a mentee and will be offering their mentee an introduction to the business world for the next 12 months.

Career Ready is a national social mobility charity which works with a network of employers and educators to give young people an insight into the business world. Career Ready targets young people whose background means that they need a platform to reach their potential.

Slingsby Partners is supporting Career Ready again by providing 1 to 1 monthly mentoring to a group of four young people, selected by Career Ready, who are studying at colleges close to our office. Working with these colleges gives us a great opportunity to give back to the local community. This proximity also allows us to invite the young people into the office to experience office life, and in particular the legal profession, first-hand. Our four mentors may not only be providing careers advice, but may also support the mentees with their plans for further education.
