Samuel Cross

Part-Qualified Patent Attorney

Samuel joined the patent profession in 2022 after transitioning from a career within the aerospace industry and has since completed a postgraduate course in Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary University of London.

Samuel has a first-class master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London. During his degree, Samuel studied a variety of disciplines, including aerodynamics, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, and materials science. He received the Industrial Project Merit Prize for his final-year thesis which involved exploring the link between the mechanical properties of lightweight composite materials and their method of manufacture.

Since joining the profession, Samuel has worked on cases across several technology fields including robotics, optics, control, and automotive.
