Verity joined the intellectual property industry in 2020.
Verity studied Physics at the University of Bristol with her first year on the Mathematics and Physics joint honours course. During her degree she has explored a broad range of topics including solid-state physics, biophysics, programming, and quantum mechanics. Her final year project was heavily electronics based and involved learning to program Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) in Verilog and designing circuits. This was then combined with sonics and used to help power an ultrasonic levitator with applications in the medical world. Verity has used Python throughout her degree and enjoyed programming and tutoring in her spare time at university.
